Written by our Worship Leader, Hilary Prescott
FRID 1 PHILIP AND JAMES We give thanks, O Lord, for the zeal with which these saints helped with the spread of the early Church. Please refresh us in our enthusiasm for the Faith.

TUES 5 Thank you, Lord, for all who work so hard to maintain the upkeep of our church buildings: grant them the time, energy and knowledge they might need.
WED 6 Loving Lord God, we ask for your blessing on today’s Toddlers Group at St. Mary’s, and we give thanks for the team and their hard-working dedication to this important part of our church’s mission.
THURS 7 Heavenly Father, at a time when people need to know the truth about what is happening in the world, we pray that the Press may not only report with integrity, but might be allowed to tell the truth, as in so many countries they are heavily penalised for being honest about what is happening. We pray for all who are suffering persecution for their honesty.
FRID 8 To be furious in religion is to be unreligiously religious…O God, help us not to despise or oppose that which we do not understand… Truth often suffers most by the heat of its defenders than from the arguments of its opposers.
