Our Diary

A coach will leave the Methodist church, parking available, at 9.30 am to visit St. Winefride’s Well at Holywell. We will visit the well at 11.00 am and then join in a short daily veneration service at 12 noon – 12.15 pm in the chapel on site. Unfortunately there are no refreshment facilities available at the Well so after the service we will travel to the Daleside Garden Centre near Queensferry arriving there between 1 – 1.15 pm, where we can browse and perhaps have lunch. There is a very nice restaurant available for those who want a snack or meal -but they are quite happy if you want to just buy a drink, take your own sandwiches and sit at the tables which will be designated in the restaurant for the group. We plan to leave Daleside to arrive in Chirk between 3.30 and 4 pm. Coach fare and entry to the Well is £22. Please book directly with Brenda Wilford
