The World Famous Fron Male Voice Choir, sings at St Mary’s Church, Chirk

Published by F Smith on

The sixty strong choir started their 2019/2020 season off with an amazing concert organised by Chirk NSPCC/Childline on Thursday 27th September.

The event was very kindly sponsored by the leading fire alarm company AICO whose new premises are situated near Oswestry.

The evening was led by musical director and contralto soloist Leigh Mason, deputy director Owen Roberts playing the organ, accompanist Jason Ellis and compére David Jones.

The concert was a sell out! It was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience and performers. A big thank you to Rev. Matt. allowing us to use the beautiful church and to all the Chirk NSPCC/Child team for their hard work making this event such a wonderful evening for all.

We raised £2,192.49 on the night. All this money will go to help children who find themselves in very difficult situations.

A fabulous night and a terrific amount raised for children. Thank you all.
