Update: Coronavirus (COVID-19) 24th March 2020 Closure of Church Buildings

Although our church has always been a place of sanctuary, peace, and wellbeing, it is now clear that our health and healing are best served by church buildings being closed. Therefore, both St Mary’s Church in Chirk and St David’s Church in Froncysylte are now closed until further notice. This closure is to ensure we comply with the instruction of the Prime Minister. To our congregations, please, stay at home. Stay safe. Protect others.

We must remember that the Church is not the building and that we can keep the Church alive through worship and prayer at home. There are very useful resources on Diocesan website, and we will post further links on this page.
