The volunteers are still very busy even at this time of year. We have been edging some of the paths and clearing fallen leaves and putting them into our leaf compost bins. We have planted 200 Bluebells bulbs and some beautiful Erythroniums (yellow dog toothed lilies).
All the buddleias and Rosa rugosa have been cut by one third to protect them from winter wind and snow damage.
The planters are being changed now for the winter flower display.
We have potted up lots of daffodils to plant out in early spring.
We really enjoy our warming cup of tea at 3:30pm to discuss our jobs for the next week.
