Greetings for Easter 6 and the start of Christian Aid Week

Dear Friends,

As Christian Aid Week begins, we’re invited again to let our faith take shape in practical love. In the morning at St David’s and St Mary’s we’ll reflect on Jesus’ call to a love that acts, and later we gather with friends from across Chirk for the Churches Together Christian Aid Service at the Methodist Church at 3pm. It’s a chance to stand alongside our neighbours, to pray for those facing poverty, and to offer hope in Jesus’ name. If you’ve never been to one of these special services before, why not give it a try? We would love to see you. And if you can, bring someone with you — a simple invitation can open a door for someone who needs it.
