Greetings for Advent 2, 2025
Dear Friends,
If you are free today we have two events. It would be lovely to see you at either:
- St. David’s Christmas Fayre at Fron Community centre (12noon – 3pm). Join us for sandwiches and cakes etc at the cafe.
- 4-6pm Messy Carols and lights switch on at St. Mary’s. 4-5 pm Children’s Crafts, 5.00-5.10pm Congregational carols, 5.10pm-5.40pm Ysgol Y Waun School Choir. Followed by lights switch on and fire works,
On this second Sunday of Advent, we hear the voice crying out in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord!’
John the Baptist reminds us that the coming of Christ calls for readiness—not only in our surroundings but in our hearts.
Advent is a season of clearing away what hinders God’s work in us, and of making room for the One who brings light and life.
I invite you to respond to this call with humility and hope, preparing the way for Christ’s peace to enter our lives and our world.”
