Greetings for Remembrance Sunday, 2026

Dear Friends,

Please find attached the weekly notices.

Tomorrow we gather for Remembrance Sunday, giving thanks for all who have served and sacrificed in times of conflict, and remembering those who have lost their lives in the cause of peace and freedom. We pray for God’s peace in our world and for all who continue to serve in the armed forces today.

Please note the change to our usual service times:

10.00am Remembrance Service at St Mary’s, Chirk, followed by the Act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph.

10.15am Remembrance Service at St David’s, Froncysyllte.

Everyone is warmly welcome as we come together to remember, to give thanks, and to pray for peace.

May God’s peace and blessing be with you and those you hold in your prayers.

With every blessing,

Matt

Vicar of Chirk
