Greetings for Trinity 17 (Harvest at St David’s) 2025
Dear Friends,
This week at St David’s, we will be celebrating Harvest, and at St Mary’s we will gather for Holy Eucharist.
In the Gospel reading from Luke, we hear the story of the ten lepers who were healed, yet only one returned to give thanks.
As we reflect on this passage, may it remind us that in the busyness of life, it is gratitude that draws us closer to God.
Whether we are celebrating the fruits of the harvest, sharing in bread and wine, or simply noticing God’s presence in our daily lives, let us take a moment to give thanks.
May we, like the healed leper, return to God with hearts full of gratitude and praise.
Every blessing,
In peace, joy, prayer and thanks,
Gary
