Remembrance Sunday
There will be two special services on Remembrance Sunday to commemorate the fallen :
- 9:45 am – Service of Remembrance at St Mary’s Church, Chirk, led by the Rev’d Matt Wilkinson. This is an ecumenical service of the churches in Chirk.
- 10:00 am – Service of Remembrance at St David’s Church, Froncysyllte, led by the Rev’d Yvonne Pryce.
The service at Chirk will be followed by an 11 o’ clock Act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph, organised by Chirk Town Council.
The service at St David’s includes an 11 o’ clock Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial in the churchyard.
