New School Governor required:
Due to Sandra’s retirement the Mission Area is looking to
appoint a new foundation governor for the Dee Valley Federation. This governor will particularly
work on supporting the Christian Ethos of Pentre School and building the link between the school
and St. Mary’s Churc h. If you are interested in finding out more about the role please see Matt for
more information.
St David’s Church Fron Churchyard:
Thank you to all those who worked so hard yesterday in
the churchyard. Together with those who help out at other times you have made a massive
difference.
All Souls’ Service to remember loved ones:
On Sunday 7 th November at 3pm at St. Mary’s we
will have our annual service to remember those who we’ve loved and lost. Due to limited capacity,
because of Covid, this service is subject to a booking system . Congregation members are
welcome to call Matt on 778519 from Tuesday (2 nd ) onwards to reserve any remaining
Remembrance Day Service on Sunday 14th November:
Please note the service at St. Mary’s
starts at the later tim e of 10am this year. If you wish to go directly to the cenotaph the service starts
at 10.45am.
Christmas Shoe Box Appeal:
Please see the leaflets available at the back of church. You can get
involved by making your own shoebox or by giving a cash donatio n (please place in the plate at
the back of church). Cash donations will be used to buy items for shoeboxes. The deadline for
donations of boxes or cash is Sunday 7th November.
Thursday Eucharists at 10.15am:
