Mothers Union

There will be no meeting in January. The next meeting will be on Thursday 4th February.

Vicarage "At Home"

Sunday 3rd January, 3:00 - 5:45 pm. Open to all church members. Tony and Mary look forward to welcoming you for refreshments.

Mini Lunches

Every Tuesday 12:00 - 1:00pm in St Mary's Church Hall, recommencing on 5th January. Cost £2. Everyone welcome.

Charity of the Month (January and February): Church Army

See display at the back of St Mary's Parish Church.
The PCC will be giving £150. Any extra contributions welcome.

Epiphany - Wednesday 6th January

7:00pm Holy Communion at St Mary's Church will be followed by our usual Epiphany Feast in the Church Hall. Please bring a little food to share and feast on for this. Warm drinks provided. Everyone welcome!

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

United Service: SUnday 24th January, 6:00pm in Chirk Methodist Chapel. Everyone welcome.

St David's Church Froncysyllte Committee Meeting

Monday 25th January at 2:00pm in the church.

Next meeting: Thursday 28th January, 7:00pm in the church hall.

St Mary's Toddlers Group

Every Wednesday morning, 9:15 - 11:15 in St Mary's Church Hall during school term time.
New members are always welcome. £1 per adult, 25p per child.

St Mary's Church "Shop"

Sacred Space Calendars and other calenders , Christmas cards and tea towels for sale. Ideal for Christmas presents - come and buy! There are a few 2010 Calendars on sale still - price reduced for quick sale!

Pentre Church Primary School Head

Mr Marc Jones has left our school to become Head at St Mary's Church Primary School, Brymbo. We thank Mr Jones for all his hard work over the last seven years at our local church school. Standards have improved, activities increased, and awards achieved. He will be greatly missed here. This month the school governors will be hoping to appoint a successor - please keep Mr Jones, the school, and the governors in your prayers at this time. Mrs Brown will be Acting Head until a new Head takes over (after Easter at the earliest).

St Mary's Churchyard

We thank members of the working parties who have transformed the churchyard: principally Ferelith Smith, John Bishop, John and Chris Short, Len Hewitson. Paths have been cleared, and hedges and flowers planted. Join the working Fridays at 2:00pm.
